Product Variants

Shopify exports each variant as a separate row. The first row contains the main product info, while subsequent rows for the same product only contain variant-specific data. Valuna imports these as individual products.

HTML in Descriptions

Shopify exports descriptions with HTML formatting in the "Body (HTML)" column. Valuna preserves this formatting, maintaining your headings, lists, and styling.

Large Catalog Exports

For stores with many products, Shopify sends the export file via email instead of downloading directly. Check your admin email for the download link.

Tip: If you have Variant SKU in your Shopify data, you can use that instead of Handle for more precise product matching.
