Import your BigCommerce products into Valuna using a CSV export from your store.
Exporting Products from BigCommerce
Log in to your BigCommerce control panel
Go to Products in the left menu
Click "Export" at the top of the page
Choose the export template (Default or Custom)
Select the file format (CSV recommended)
Click "Export" to download
Filtering Your Export
Before exporting, you can filter products:
Use the search bar to find specific products
Filter by category, brand, or visibility status
Select individual products using checkboxes
Click "Export Selected" for partial exports
Importing to Valuna
Go to Products in Valuna
Click "Add Products"
Select "Upload CSV"
Upload your BigCommerce export file
Map the columns to Valuna fields
Click "Import"

Handling Product Variants
BigCommerce exports variants as separate rows linked by the parent product ID. Valuna imports these as individual products. If you only want parent products, filter the export or remove variant rows from the CSV before importing.
HTML in Descriptions
BigCommerce descriptions often contain HTML formatting. Valuna preserves this formatting, so your product descriptions will maintain headings, lists, and other styling.
Tip: For large catalogs over 1000 products, BigCommerce processes exports in the background and emails you when the file is ready for download.
