Export your optimized content to BigCommerce using CSV import.
Exporting from Valuna
Go to Products
Select the products to export
Click "Export"
Choose "CSV Standard"
Download the file
CSV File Requirements
Maximum file size: 30MB
Price values without currency symbols
Image filenames can only contain: a-z, 0-9, - and _
For new products, leave the ID field blank
Set Type as "physical" for physical products
Importing to BigCommerce
Log in to your BigCommerce control panel
Go to Products in the left menu
Click "Import"
Click "Choose File" and select your CSV
Click "Next" to proceed to field mapping
Map your columns to BigCommerce fields
Click "Next" to start the import
Important Import Settings
Overwrite existing products: Enable to update products by SKU or ID
Ignore blank values: Keep this enabled to avoid accidentally deleting data
HTML in Descriptions
BigCommerce supports HTML in product descriptions. Valuna exports preserve formatting including headings, lists, and paragraphs.
Product Variants
To import products with variants, create a separate row for each variant. Include the parent product ID and variant-specific details in separate columns.
Important Limitations
You cannot create new categories via CSV import, only assign existing ones
Digital product files cannot be added via CSV
Important: Create a backup before importing. Go to Advanced Settings > Backup Points in your control panel. For imports over 1000 products, BigCommerce processes in the background and emails you when complete.
